Hooray!!!

Finally, the day has arrived.....Emilee took her first steps! I must admit, I was starting to get a little worried, being she's now 14 months old and didn't seem too interested in walking. Although, I know I shouldn't have been worried because the average age that a toddler walks is 14 months old. I guess she's sticking to statistics. She took one step yesterday at her Auntie Jess' and Uncle Matt's house and they were so excited they came to my work just to tell me. Luckily, Emilee took two steps towards me when they came to visit. It was the proudest moment of my parenting life, I almost shed a tear.

AWWWW! Congrats baby Emillee. Watch out mom and dad she'll be in high school next month. Atleast it seems that way. They grow WAY to fast..

Yeah Emilee! I wasn't worried though. Just one more milestone to check off the list...and there will be many more.

My 20/20 hindsight tells me I have worried too much over the little things, and not spent quite enough time living in the moment. So, my advice to all of us "over worried moms" is to "let go and let God." And, that means fully letting go. Not just saying we're letting go, but then we're really hanging on 'cause we're worrying and fretting about everything. Remember, "where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom." AMEN!!

Have a great day! Hope it's filled with lots of laughter and love.
